Salaries in agricultural sector rose by 24.4% in 2018

In 2018, the average monthly salary in the Ukrainian agricultural sector grew by 24.4% to UAH 7,166 on average, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reports.
“According to the data provided by the State Statistics Service, the average monthly salary in the agricultural sector amounted to UAH 7,166 in January-December 2018, which is 24.4% more compared to the same period last year,” reads the report.
Moreover, the average monthly salary in the food processing industry in 2018 reached UAH 8,338, which is 23.4% more than in January-May 2017," the ministry reports.
