Finance Ministry attracts UAH 18.4 bln to state budget from government bonds’ sale

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine attracted UAH 18.355 billion to the state budget as a result of the sale of government domestic loan bonds on January 29, according to the ministry’s website.

“As a result of the scheduled placement of government domestic loan bonds, the state budget was replenished with UAH 18,355,413,717.19 [at the exchange rate set by the NBU]," reads the report.

The ministry also added that out of 102 submitted bids to buy domestic loan bonds, 92 were satisfied.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, at the auction held on January 22, 2019, the Finance Ministry replenished the state budget with UAH 13.568 billion [at the exchange rate set by the NBU] from the sale of government domestic loan bonds.
