Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated this when commenting on the results of the Ukrainian-Norwegian Business Forum, the Government portal reports.

"Today we have signed preliminary contracts for a total sum of about $ 1.5 billion, of which about $1 billion is investments into renewable energy," said Groysman.

He also added that the range of cooperation between two countries is quite large: agriculture, IT, automobile construction. At the same time, the cooperation in the renewable energy sector includes solar, wind and hydro energy.

"This is a good signal and a good result. Then the contacts between Ukrainian and Norwegian entrepreneurs will be strengthened. The economic component occupies an important place during my visits,” Groysman said.

The business forum took place in Oslo as part of the official visit of Volodymyr Groysman to the Kingdom of Norway.
