Ukraine already saved almost UAH 66 bln due to ProZorro system

Ukraine has already saved UAH 66 billion due to the ProZorro procurement system, First Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Maksym Nefyodov wrote on Twitter.
“We have progressive examples of successful digitalization. We have created ProZorro, one of the most efficient public procurement systems in the world. Due to the work of the system, the state of Ukraine has saved UAH 65.5 billion in absolute equivalent," wrote Nefyodov.
As reported, the electronic system of public procurement ProZorro became mandatory for the use in Ukraine from August 1, 2016. The largest number of tenders announced in the ProZorro public procurement system was recorded in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions. Construction works and current repairs, food and beverages, oil products, fuel, electricity and medical equipment are purchased most often through the system.
