Poroshenko, Lagarde to discuss economy, investment in Davos

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Finance Minister Oksana Markarova will meet with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde as part of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday, the press service of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry has reported on Facebook.
"What should we tell and hear [at the forum]? First and foremost, that we already take into account global risks in planning and forecasting our development, and secondly, that we are successfully developing our economy, and our GDP has been growing for 11 consecutive quarters. Thirdly, that this is a sign of the attractiveness of Ukraine as an investment and business partner. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Oksana Markarova will talk about this with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde tomorrow and at the second meeting of the Investment Council," the ministry said on Tuesday, January 22.
