"The Government budgeted over UAH 37.8 billion for the development of Ukrainian regions in 2019. The funds will be spent on repairs of schools and kindergartens, hospitals, roads, construction of boiler stations and sports grounds. Also, they will be spent on the development of rural medicine and energy efficiency," Groysman wrote.
According to him, for years Ukrainian cities and villages had no money for development. Everything was taken to Kyiv... but decentralization changed this trend. From 2016 to 2018, more than 3,000 facilities were built and restored in Ukrainian regions with the support of the state budget.
