Ukraine, Tajikistan intend to resume direct flights

Ukraine and Tajikistan have discussed the issue of resuming direct flights between the countries in line with the intergovernmental agreements as of 2008.
The press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in Tajikistan reported this following a meeting of Charge d'affaires ad interim of Ukraine in the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Semenov with Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of Tajikistan Ikrom Subkhonzoda.
“During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, the main of which is the issue of restoring direct flights between Ukraine and Tajikistan in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on air service as of March 7, 2008,” reads the report.
During the talks, the parties reached an understanding on key issues.
