Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at a government meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"As of January 1, 2019, we were able to form gold and foreign exchange reserves in the amount of more than $20 billion. This is a record high over the past five years," Groysman said.
According to him, the Government in 2019 sets rather ambitious tasks, including strengthening of the economy, creation of industries and jobs for Ukrainians.
"We will reinvest and give people everything that the economy produces through financing education, medicine, indexation of pensions," the prime minister assured.
