Deposit Guarantee Fund starts refunds to depositors of VTB Bank

“From December 21, 2018, the Deposit Guarantee Fund starts to pay refunds to the depositors of JSC VTB Bank under part one of the general register, which does not include a guaranteed amount under bank account agreements (card accounts) until full information about transactions carried out by the payment system (domestic and international),” reads the report.

As reported, on December 18, 2018, the National Bank of Ukraine decided to revoke the banking license and liquidate JSC VTB Bank.
