Groysman: Innovation Support Fund to start operating next year

The Innovation Support Fund will be established in Ukraine next year, as well as three centers of transport technologies.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Next year we will launch the Innovation Support Fund. We need to ensure the transfer of new technological solutions to the real economy. This means that if there is an innovative product that is in demand in the real sector of the economy, both within the country and in the world, we must ensure that the period from development to industrial production be as quick as possible,” said Groysman.

He added that Ukraine will set up a network of innovation support centers and will open access to the category of information that was previously closed.

In addition, according to Groysman, three centers of transport technologies will be created in Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, the government plans to allocate UAH 300-350 million to finance the Innovation Support Fund in 2019.
