Foreign investments in Mykolaiv region reach $223 mln in January-September 2018

In January-September 2018, enterprises of Mykolaiv region received $223 million of foreign investments, which is 8.2% more than at the beginning of the year.
This data has been provided by the main statistics department in Mykolaiv region.
"As of October 1, 2018, residents of 45 countries transferred $223 million of direct investments in enterprises of the region, which is 8.2% more than the amount of investments as of the beginning of the year,” reads the report.
The main countries, accounting for nearly 90% of investments, are Cyprus - $112.9 million, the Netherlands - $48 million, Singapore - $27 million, and Belgium - $10.9 million.
The largest foreign investments have been made into industrial enterprises - 41.3% of the total volume of direct investments, as well as transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities - 36.5%.
