A trade volume between Ukraine and Slovakia grew by 36% in the first half of 2018.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this at a joint briefing with President of the Slovak Republic Andrej Kiska in Kyiv on November 23, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The trade turnover between our countries increased by 36% in the first half of the year. This is another proof of the effectiveness of the Association Agreement and the FTA in conditions when Russia uses the embargo as an element of the hybrid war and closed its markets,” the Ukrainian president said.
The European Union is a reliable market for Ukrainian producers, Poroshenko stressed.
