He stated this at the Second Annual International Forum Creative Ukraine, which is held in Kyiv on November 8-9, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“We are trying to join creative industries of the European Union and show how the creative economy can develop. Today, Ukraine can not only use the experience and technology but also show Europe own experience in implementing creative projects," Zubko said.
According to him, the development of creative industries adds 4% to the country's GDP.
"At present the creative industry adds 4% to the economy in the world. We understand that there is influence of each industry on the overall Ukrainian economy, and it's very important for us to show how the creative economy influences regional development. There is a demand for the implementation of cultural and creative projects in the regions and communities. In many regions, such projects are already being successfully implemented," he said.
