Wage arrears in Donetsk region exceed UAH 508 mln

Wage arrears in Donetsk region reached UAH 508.3 million, of which 88.8% was recorded at economically active enterprises, according to the region’s main statistics department.
"At the beginning of October 2018, the total amount of wage arrears made up UAH 508.3 million, of which UAH 451.4 million was recorded at economically active enterprises,” reads the report.
It is noted that debts of economically active enterprises to their employees grew by 15.1% in September.
At the beginning of October, the largest amount of unpaid wages was recorded at the region's industrial enterprises - almost 92.3%.
