Ukraine, Israel to sign free trade agreement by year-end – Kubiv

Ukraine will sign an agreement on free trade area (FTA) with Israel by the end of 2018.
First Vice Prime Minister - Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said this at the Government’s meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“We have reached the final stage of signing a free trade agreement with Israel. The agreement will be signed by the end of the year. Israel will become the 46th country with which Ukraine will have a free trade area,” Kubiv said.
As of today, Ukrainian goods are supplied free of duty to the countries where a total of 850 million people live, the minister said.
As reported, Ukraine has FTA agreements with 45 countries; it has completed negotiations on FTA with Israel and is conducting talks on FTA with Turkey and Serbia.
