Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko said this during a round table in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The MPs have the opportunity to make a proposal to increase the financing of "warm loans". A competitive selection of members of the Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund, which will take all the decisions, is being held. The Fund will be launched in the first quarter of 2019," Zubko said.
According to him, UAH 1.5 billion will be allocated to the authorized capital from the state budget. Another UAH 3 billion will be provided by international partners to co-finance the institution.
According to Zubko, UAH 55 billion, which is now spent on subsidies, will be gradually redirected and reinvested in thermal modernization.
