About 6.9 mln families to receive subsidy in 2019 – Groysman

The Government expects that about 6.9 million families will receive a subsidy in 2019.
"We expect that in 2019 about 6.9 million families will receive a subsidy. We are ready for such figure. The increase in gas prices will not influence those who receive subsidies. A share they paid will not change. The rest will be paid by the state," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote on Twitter.
According to him, the most important thing now is to protect each family.
"The budget for 2019 includes UAH 55 billion in subsidies and social support for people in need of assistance. That will be enough to protect everyone who needs it," the prime minister said.
