Vice PM Kubiv discusses assistance to Ukrainian business in Canada

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv met with Canadian Minister of International Development Marie-Claude Bibeau during his visit to Ottawa.

 “I met with Canadian Minister of International Development Marie-Claude Bibeau, who also pays great attention to gender equality in public policy, entrepreneurship and society as a whole,” Kubiv posted on Facebook.

The Vice PM added that “in July of this year, Ms Bibeau initiated on behalf of Canada the launch of a new technical assistance project for Ukraine with a total budget of $30 million which will be aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises with an emphasis on increasing opportunities for female entrepreneurs.”

According to Kubiv, the consideration of the first proposals within the framework of this program should be expected already in a week.
