Debts of enterprises to Naftogaz decreased to UAH 27.4 bln

“As of October 17, 2018, the total debt of enterprises of local heating companies, thermal power plants to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine amounted to about UAH 27.4 billion. The amount of debt decreased by UAH 117 million (0.4%) compared with the previous week,” reads the report.

At the same time, the debt of regional gas supplying enterprises from last week increased by UAH 993 million (5.3%), to UAH 19.8 billion. The debt of industrial enterprises remained the same – UAH 2.8 billion.

According to the ruling made by the Economic Court of Kyiv on October 10, 2018 regarding the conclusion of a settlement agreement, the municipal enterprise of the executive body of Kyiv Council (Kyiv City State Administration) Kyivteploenergo is the assignee for the debt obligations of PJSC Kyivenergo to repay the debt, totaling about UAH 2.4 billion, for natural gas used for generating heat and electricity.

The total outstanding debt of enterprises of local heating companies and thermal power plants for natural gas used for generating heat made up about UAH 24.1 billion, of which UAH 8.6 billion – for 2018. Compared with the previous week, the debt grew by UAH 5 million.

The debt of thermal power plants for natural gas used in electricity generation decreased by UAH 122 million (3.6%) over the previous week and at present totals about UAH 3.285 billion.

And the debt of direct industrial consumers has not changed significantly compared with the previous week and totals about UAH 2.803 billion.
