Ambassador: Construction of bridge over Tysa River to revive Ukraine-Romania cooperation

While meeting with the leadership of Maramures County, Ukrainian Ambassador to Romania Oleksandr Bankov pointed to the importance of construction of a bridge over the Tysa (Tisza) River.
"The parties discussed the progress of repair works at the Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Lyceum in Sighetu Marmației city as well as Ukraine-Romania bilateral cooperation at the regional level, in particular, a number of infrastructure projects launched by the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, the Maramures county council and the prefecture. Among other things, the importance of start of construction of a bridge over the Tysa River was underscored,” the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in Romania reports.
As noted, this project aims to revive significantly the bilateral exchange, particularly in the economic sphere, both at the regional and the national levels.
