Ukroboronprom, Aselsan sign memorandum on joint production of radio communication equipment

"The state company SpetsTechnoExport, which is part of Ukroboronprom, has signed a memorandum with the Turkish company Aselsan on the organization of joint production of Turkish radio communication equipment in Ukraine. The agreements are planned to be implemented according to the mechanism of offset obligations between the companies," reads the report.

The signing of the memorandum was held during the international specialized exhibition "Arms and Security-2018" in Kyiv.

It is noted that the establishment of the production of Turkish radio communication systems in Ukraine will allow the Defense Ministry of Ukraine to gain access to the most advanced technologies in the field of communication systems.

In December 2016, SpetsTechnoExport and Aselsan signed the first agreement on the import of VHF radio stations for the needs of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
