President ratifies agreement on EUR 5 mln for Danube program

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law "On ratification of the Agreement on financing the Danube Transnational Program,” the president’s press service reports.
"President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine "On ratification of the Agreement on financing the Danube Transnational Program. The ratification of this Agreement will create the legal basis for obtaining EUR 5 million to finance projects under the Danube Transnational Program as a financial instrument of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region,” reads the report.
The implementation of the Agreement will contribute to the fulfillment of obligations defined in the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, as well as the social and economic development of the Ukrainian part of Danube region, covering Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Zakarpattia regions.
