New direct flights from Ukraine to four Turkish cities planned to be launched next year

New direct flights between Ukraine and four Turkish cities - Izmir, Bursa, Dalaman and Bodrum – are planned to be launched next year.

“In 2016, 1 million 50 thousand Ukrainian tourists visited Turkey. In 2017, 1 million 250 thousand Ukrainians visited Turkey. This year, we expect an increase of 20-30% but do not have final statistics yet. About 250,000 citizens of Turkey visit Ukraine every year, and we see steady annual growth. More than 180 flights are performed weekly between our countries. Starting from next year, we plan to launch direct flights to Izmir, Bursa, Dalaman and Bodrum,” Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andriy Sybiha told Ukrainian journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Ukrainian diplomat along with his colleagues from China, India and other countries visited eastern Turkey as part of the program for tourist promotion of the region.
