Record-high UAH 12.4 bln reimbursed to taxpayers in September - SFS

Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service (SFS) reimbursed UAH 12.4 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) in September 2018, the SFS press service reports.
“The amount of VAT reimbursed in September 2018, totaling UAH 12.4 billion, is the highest since the start of the year, while an average monthly amount of VAT reimbursement makes up UAH 10.8 billion,” reads the report.
It is noted the sum of VAT reimbursed in September 2018 was 28% or UAH 2.7 billion higher the amount recorded in September 2017 (UAH 9.7 billion).
In general, the State Fiscal Service reimbursed UAH 97.6 billion worth of VAT in January-September 2018, which is 11.5% or UAH 10 billion more compared with the corresponding period last year (UAH 87.6 billion).
Also, 86% of the VAT amounts claimed for return have been reimbursed, the State Fiscal Service reported.
