Swiss investments in Ukraine grew by $20.3 mln in H1 2018 – Kubiv

The growth of Swiss investments in Ukraine amounted to $20.3 million in January-June 2018.

First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv wrote this on Facebook after a meeting with Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch.

"Switzerland is among the top 10 foreign investors in Ukraine. The growth of Swiss investments as of July 1, 2018 amounted to $20.3 million. In general, Switzerland has invested more than $1.5 billion in the Ukrainian economy," Kubiv wrote.

He added that the largest volume of Swiss funds to Ukraine was invested in the industry, which is almost 60% of the total volume of investments from this country, or $912 million.

Kubiv also stressed that Ukraine and Switzerland will continue to develop comprehensive cooperation in all priority areas.
