UAH 56 bln budgeted for road repair and construction for next year

The draft state budget for 2019 provides for allocation of UAH 56 billion (nearly $2 billion) for repair and construction of roads.
"The draft state budget for 2019 provides for allocation of UAH 56 billion for major repair and construction of roads," President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said, speaking at the celebrations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of the National Academy of Legal Sciences in Kharkiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The President stressed that the use of funds for road construction would be monitored, including by the Security Service and the police.
