Ukraine exported more than 10,000 tonnes of watermelons in August

In August 2018, Ukrainian farmers exported more than 10,000 tonnes of watermelons.
This was reported by Ukraine’s largest wholesale market of agricultural products "Shuvar".
"In August 2018, there was a significant revival of international trade in Ukrainian watermelons. In the last month of the summer, Ukraine exported more than 10,000 tonnes, while in July Ukraine exported only 6,500 tonnes of watermelons," the report reads.
Belarus, Poland and the Baltic countries were among the main buyers of Ukrainian watermelons.
