Kherson region will be a hub in restoration of Crimean economy – ministry for temporarily occupied territories

"The development of Kherson region is very important for us because Kherson region is a hub. When the sovereignty over Crimea is restored (and this will not happen in one day, there will be a transitional period), we want people [from Crimea] to come to get services [in Kherson region]. The business that will be based and developed in Kherson region should be able to advance easily as the developed Ukrainian business," Vadym Chernysh, the minister of Ukraine for temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, said during a press conference at the Ukrinform agency on Tuesday.

Therefore, the minister believes, the Ukrainian government should form a "special attitude" towards Kherson region and introduce "additional incentives" for its successful development.
