Ukraine, Kenya to create joint commission on trade and economic cooperation

The Cabinet of Ministers intends to create a delegation to participate in negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Kenya on the establishment of a joint commission on trade and economic cooperation and the signing of a relevant agreement.

The corresponding resolution is posted on the Ukrainian Government’s website.

"To create a delegation of the Government of Ukraine for participation in negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Kenya to conclude an agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Kenya on the establishment of a joint commission on trade and economic cooperation," reads the resolution.

It is noted that the agreement will contribute to the development of the contractual and legal framework for bilateral Ukrainian-Kenyan relations and the development and expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as determine the procedures and activities of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation.
