Kherson region earns by 36% more from tourism this summer

More than UAH 1.8 million of tourist tax has been already transferred to local budgets of Kherson region, which is 36.1% more compared to the same period in 2017.
The press service of the General Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Kherson region and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol told this to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"As of the beginning of the current week, local budgets of Kherson region received UAH 1 million 845.4 thousand of tourist tax from legal entities and individuals, which is 36.1% or UAH 489.7 thousand more than the corresponding figure in the last year," reads the report.
