Ukraine building the same management system as in the EU – Zubko

Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko wrote this on Facebook after a meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.

"Ukraine has a great investment potential, which should be known in the world. Today, the participation and assistance of the diplomatic corps in attracting investments are important for us ... The management system has changed in the country. The decentralization reform allows local self-government to create all conditions for attracting investments. And this is not only a matter of finance, this is primarily a matter of attracting technology, training personnel, supporting the creation of a developed infrastructure," Zubko wrote.

He added that the united territorial communities were able to negotiate and independently attract an investor to the development of enterprises on their territory, the reconstruction of infrastructure, the introduction of social services, etc., as well as to agree that taxes paid by enterprises were invested in local infrastructure.

Zubko noted that Ukraine had the same management system as in European countries. He added that he expected to receive the assistance from the diplomatic corps in attracting investments into regional development.
