First international audit of Ukrposhta confirms its financial report for 2015-2016

PJSC Ukrposhta, Ukraine’s national postal operator, for the first time audited the financial statements for 2015-2016 with the involvement of the Global financial auditing and consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the press service of Ukrposhta reports.
“According to the auditor's conclusion, financial statements, taking into account the set forth precautions, meet the requirements of international financial reporting standards. According to the audited financial statements of Ukrposhta, the net income in the main areas of activities in 2015-2016 amounted to UAH 3.89 billion in 2015, UAH 4.59 billion in 2016. At the same time, operating expenses for wages, deductions for social activities, depreciation and other operating expenses amounted to UAH 4.0 billion in 2015, and UAH 4.7 billion in 2016," reads the report.
According to the financial statements, the total value of all assets of the national postal operator as of December 31, 2016 amounted to UAH 5.88 billion.
