Ukraine’s honey exports grew by 38% in 2017 - Kubiv

Ukraine exported honey worth $133.7 million last year, according to First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv.

In a post on his Facebook page, he wrote: "Currently, Ukrainian honey remains a favorite product both in Ukraine and abroad. In 2017, Ukraine exported honey worth $133.7 million, which is $36.4 million or 37.5% more than in 2016”.

According to the data provided by the Economic Development Ministry, Ukraine exported natural honey for the sum of $33.9 million over the first five months of 2015. The United States, European Union, Turkey, Israel, Libya, Switzerland, Japan, Morocco, Iraq, and the Saudi Arabia were the largest importers of Ukrainian honey.
