Ukrnafta pays UAH 3.6 bln of rent for subsoil use in H1 2018

PJSC Ukrnafta in January-June 2018 transferred UAH 3.6 billion in rental payments to the state and local budgets of various levels for subsoil use, the company’s press service reports.
“In June 2018, PJSC Ukrnafta transferred UAH 619.4 million in rental payments to the state and local budgets of various levels for subsoil use under obligations. Thus, the company's rent payments for the first half of this year to the budgets of all levels amounted to UAH 3.6 billion," the report said.
Ukrnafta noted that according to the mechanism for distributing rent for oil, gas and condensate, stipulated in the legislation, UAH 180.8 million of the total amount of rent was transferred to local budgets of various levels.
In June 2018, the biggest recipients of rent revenues are communities from Sumy region (UAH 13.3 mln), Ivano-Frankivsk region (UAH 6.9 mln) and Poltava region (UAH 4.4 mln).
