The world's largest cargo aircraft An-225 Mriya flew from the Iquique Airport in Chile to Senegal’s Dakar and returned to its home airport in Hostomel near Kyiv.

"Mriya performed 12 flights in a row in South America, having set a new record for commercial cargo aircraft," UA|TV reports.

Ukrainians transported from Chile to Bolivia about 2,000 tons of equipment for the modernization of Bolivian thermal power plants.

The aircraft delivered 160 tons of cargo in a flight. The first flight was performed on June 27.

As noted, the transportation of equipment by Ukrainian aircraft will increase the capacity of Bolivia's power system by 66%.
