The investments from Canada to Ukraine are growing.

"Since the entry into force of the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement last year, we have been recording the growth of investment between Canada and Ukraine and increase in activity of both large and small companies. The trade growth entails an increase in investment and vice versa," Zenon Potichny, the President of the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce, said in an interview with Ukrinform.

He added that a special event to attract Canadian investors would be held in Ukraine in autumn.

"In October, CUTIS [Canada-Ukraine Trade and Investment Support project] will hold a special event to present various interesting projects and look for investors in Canada. We really hope that this will result in even greater investment growth," the CUCC president emphasized.

The Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement came into force on August 1, 2017.
