State Service of Maritime and River Transport to start operating on August 1

The State Service of Maritime and River Transport (Maritime Administration) will start operating in Ukraine on August 1, 2018.
The state agency will coordinate the work of 13 sea ports and ensure safety of navigation.
"We aim to closely cooperate with public organizations, with everyone who cares about the implementation of the state policy in the sphere of maritime and river transport, the development and improvement of the Maritime Administration, as well as solving current challenges," the Maritime Administration’s press service wrote on Facebook.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers in September 2017 approved a decision on the establishment of the State Service of Maritime and River Transport in Ukraine.
