The press service of the EBRD told this to Ukrinform.
"The EBRD will provide a 10-year loan worth EUR 5.6 million to Ekotechnik Shyroke LLC for the construction and maintenance of a 7 MW solar power plant in Dnipropetrovsk region in southeastern Ukraine. The implementation of this project will increase the share of alternative energy in the electricity generation structure of the country,” reads the report.
The EBRD added that the solar power plant, which is jointly owned by EKOTECHNIK Group (Czech Republic) and TRYBA ENERGY (France), will contribute to Ukraine's goal of increasing its share of renewable energy in total consumption up to 11% by 2020.
