Small-scale privatization through ProZorro.Sale system launched in Ukraine

On this occasion, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has personally visited the office of the State Enterprise “ProZorro.Sale”, the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry reports.

"The first small-scale privatization facility has appeared on ProZorro.Sale system. It was put on sale by the municipal property management and privatization department of the Zhytomyr City Council on the trading platform smarttender.biz. It’s a two-storeyed building of an abandoned dental clinic in the center of Zhytomyr city. Immediately after this, the small-scale privatization facilities in the cities of Lviv and Izmail were registered in the system," the statement reads.

Volodymyr Groysman stressed that the process of privatization was launched on the basis of new legislation and using the innovative tools, namely, the mechanisms of ProZorro.Sale platform.

Pursuant to the law of Ukraine "On Privatization of State and Municipal Property," which entered into force in March, small-scale privatization is carried out through the ProZorro.Sale electronic system. The State Property Fund of Ukraine and the local authorities will put the assets of state and municipal property worth up to UAH 250 million on sale within the framework of small-scale privatization.
