Ukraine signs Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent BEPS

Ukrainian Acting Finance Minister Oksana Markarova has signed on behalf of Ukraine the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting.
"July 23, in London, Ukrainian Acting Finance Minister Oksana Markarova signed the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI)," the press service of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine reports.
As Markarova explained, signing the MLI enables to amend the existing international treaties on avoidance of double taxation between Ukraine and other states.
"The implementation of the Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting will foster harmonization of international tax regulations with more than 70 world countries and create a more transparent tax environment," she said.
Now the Convention should be ratified by the parliament.
