Sanctions that Russia can impose on Ukraine will not affect the country’s economy.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister – Economic Development and Trade Minister Stepan Kubiv said this at a press briefing on Thursday, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

"Given that we banned any trade with the aggressor, and we will continue this way, their mirror sanctions will not affect the economy of Ukraine in any way," Kubiv said.

Earlier, the Justice Ministry assured that no one in Ukraine would suffer from the sanctions that Russia planned to introduce regarding Ukraine.

Russian media reported that Russia was preparing a list of restrictive measures against several hundred individuals and about a hundred legal entities in Ukraine.
