Number of foreign tourists traveling to Zakarpattia region grows

The number of foreign citizens entering Zakarpattia region grew in the first half of 2018. The number of tourists from Belarus and the Czech Republic doubled.
"In the first half of 2018, the number of foreign citizens entering the territory of the region grew. The most significant growth is observed among the citizens of Belarus and the Czech Republic as the number of tourists from these countries doubled," Denys Man, the head of the economic development department at the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, posted on his Facebook page.
He noted that the citizens of Germany, Italy and Serbia also showed interest in the western region of Ukraine.
