Omelyan does not see positive changes in Ukrzaliznytsia’s work either for economy or for passengers

PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia continues to disrupt the schedule of road repairs in Lviv region and in other regions due to the shortage of bulk materials.

Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan said this answering the question of Ukrinform’s correspondent.

"Despite the change of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia’s head, I do not see positive changes that the economy and passengers are waiting for. I hope that the Government's decision on transparent corporate governance and creation of a supervisory board will give an additional impetus for the management of Ukrzaliznytsia to improve their work," Omelyan said.

In Lviv, the minister took part in a session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Lithuanian Commission on Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation. The meeting participants discussed topical issues of cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine.
