Farmers in Mykolaiv region already threshed two million tonnes of grains

Farmers in Mykolaiv region have already threshed two million tonnes of grains of the new harvest, according to the press service of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
"In Mykolaiv region, two million tonnes of the new-harvest grains were threshed, with an average yield of 29.1 dt/ha. At the same time, gross wheat harvest makes up 1.3 million tonnes," reads the report.
The harvest campaign for early grain and legume crops has been completed in nine out of 19 districts of the region.
The administration’s press service also added that farmers in the region threshed almost 80,000 tonnes of rapeseed from an area of 95%, with an average yield of 21.4 dt/ha.
