VR budget committee endorses redistribution of funds for sports palaces’ construction

The budget committee of the Verkhovna Rada endorsed the redistribution of funds from the state budget to local budgets for the construction and reconstruction of sports palaces in 2018.
For the first time in many years, these sports facilities are provided with funds in the amount of UAH 150 million, the press service of the Youth and Sports Ministry told Ukrinform.
"New sports palaces will be built in Ternopil, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Lviv and Kharkiv," the press service noted.
In order to implement the government’s resolution "On the approval of the procedure and conditions for granting subventions from the state budget to local budgets in 2018", the interdepartmental commission studied 11 projects from Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Lviv, Luhansk, Cherkasy, Rivne, Volyn, Ternopil and Poltava regions.
