Real wages in Ukraine grow by 11.8% – PM Groysman

In 2018, actual wages in Ukraine have already increased by 11.8%, while minimum wages - by 16.3%.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this when presenting the Government's report for the first half of this year at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The growth of actual wages, which mean wages are actually paid with the deduction of inflation, is 11.8%. The minimum wage grew by 16.3%," Groysman said.

At the same time, the prime minister recalled that GDP growth in Ukraine for the first quarter of this year was 3.1%, which was more than expected.

In addition, he added that the industry grew by 2.5%.
