Ukraine has already exported over 39 mln tons of grains

Ukraine has exported over 39 million tons of grain crops since the beginning of the current marketing year.

Ukrinform learnt this from the press service of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"In particular, almost 16.7 million tons of wheat (including almost 10 million tons of milling wheat and 6.8 million tons of fodder wheat), 4.1 million tons of barley and over 17 million tons of corn have been exported since the beginning of the current marketing year," the statement reads.

About 43 million tons of grains were exported over the same period last marketing year. In particular, over 17 million tons of wheat (including 11.6 million tons of milling wheat and over 5.7 million tons of fodder wheat), 5.2 million tons of barley and over 19.7 million tons of corn were exported.

As noted, the exports of oilseeds have grown.

“Over 4.8 million tons of oilseeds have been exported within the current MY, including 2.1 million tons of rapeseed, over 2.7 million tons of soybeans. 3.9 million tons of oilseeds were exported over the same period last marketing year, including 1 million tons of rapeseed and over 2.9 million tons of soybeans.
