It is a platform for developing proposals for reforms in this area," Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said.

According to him, Ukrainian inventors and researchers have the right to protect their developments, and Ukraine is interested in stimulating and introducing the results of intellectual activity in the real sector of the economy.

The main tasks of the Council are the coordination of interaction between executive authorities, business and public sector in the field of intellectual property; finding ways and mechanisms for resolving problematic issues arising during the formation and implementation of the state policy in the field of intellectual property, as well as the development of needed legislative changes.
