Ukraine seeks to get into the Top 50 of the World Bank's Doing Business ranking.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mykhailo Titarchuk stated this at the 7th Sweden-Ukraine Business Forum organized by the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine with the support of the Swedish business community, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"At present Ukraine is the 76th in the Doing Business ranking. At first, we were in the 153rd position, but the government is speeding up certain things and about 500 obsolete regulatory acts have been canceled during four-five [previous] Cabinets. Our task is to get into the Top-50," Titarchuk said.

He noted that interest in the Ukrainian market of such global giants as IKEA and H&M is a positive signal for other investors.

"Our task is to create conditions for foreign business so that they feel comfortable working here," Titarchuk stressed.
