Ukraine, China sign memorandum on cooperation and promotion of mutual trade in poultry meat

Ukraine and China have signed a memorandum of understanding between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection on cooperation and promotion of mutual trade in poultry meat.

This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"This memorandum opens up new opportunities for diversifying the market for Ukrainian poultry and raising competitiveness of Ukrainian food products on world markets. The document would enhance the image of Ukraine as a reliable trading partner and contribute to economic development of our country," said Volodymyr Lapa, the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

He also emphasized that signing the document would promote the development and strengthening of cooperation and expansion of bilateral trade between Ukraine and China.
